Model Comp

A comp card is a marketing tool used by models to promote themselves to agents and agent's clients. It is a model's business card. It can make you or break you when searching for work. For this reason, a comp card should have the best and most current portfolio photos. Every model should have an up to date comp card showcasing their skills.

A comp card should have a minimum of two pictures, but usually has five. The front page is a full-size headshot and the second page has a variation of portfolio pictures. The above example has one headshot and three additional pictures on the back. Models should use editorial and lifestyle portfolio photos which shows the model's versatility and gives agents a visual of how you sell what you're modeling.
